Bowen Technique in Pregnancy
I had Bowen treatments in the run up to my home birth delivery this year - as recommended in the Gentle Birth Method book. I believe it really helped to open up my pelvis in preparation for birth.

Super stuff at Stokesley
Karen continues to work her magic and keeps my aches and pains under control. I started with aromatherapy massages then Bowen which has really worked for tenosynovitis & carpel tunnel plus other niggles. Reflexology is my latest favourite - it is relaxing and uplifiting and Karen always knows when my fluid intake is too low! Try Jamie for a pedicure - she's very good.

Bowen treatments
I am a mother with a young baby of 18 months and ever since the birth I have had lower back pain. Some days it was so bad I could not pick up my baby and this was very distressing.
The Bowen Technique was recommended to me by a friend who had found it very helpful. I had never heard of it and was sceptical when I went for my 1st treatment. I experienced some relief and was looking forward to my next one.
After the second treatment I was in quite a bit of discomfort and thought I should cancel, but I spoke to Karen who explained that this was a positive sign that my body was trying to get better.
I can only say that I am so glad I listened to her as my back is now so much better and I have no problems picking up my daughter.

Face Lift Massage - Delighted with results
Dear Karen
Having now completed a full course of Face Lift Massages i am writing to say thank you and how delighted i am with the results. I have noticed a real change in the tone and condition of my skin; it looks and feels fresher and brighter.
Whilst I was not expecting miracles at 50 I can see a visible reduction of the character lines around my eyes, nose and forehead and the shape of my face appears more defined. I wish i had had this treatment years ago!
The facial and head massage with lovely essential oils was also very beneficial, one of the most relaxing i have ever experienced and as you are aware i was so relaxed I nodded off! This alone without the other appearance benefits was worth the investment.
While i am not brave enough to supply you with before and after photographs to demonstrate the effects of the treatment (I'm far too scary for your clients!) I would be willing to speak to anyone who is considering undergoing the same treatment which i would wholeheartedly recommend.
I look forward to seeing you at my next monthly appointment so that we can maintain the improvements to my appearance.

Reflexology
Thank you so much for the help you have recently given me. I was suffering very badly with sinusitis and the medication given to my by my doctor did not seem to be shifitng it. You were recommended to me by a friend and i am glad i followed her advice. I had never had reflexology before but now my sinusitis had cleared i intend to have treatments on a regular basis as i found the whole experiance of visiting natures ways very relaxing and helpful.
